This incredible live concert and recording took place in Tokyo, Japan, October 1987.
Dave Grusin played a beautiful set with world class players, Vinnie Colaiuta, Lee Ritenour and Tom Scott performing some of Dave's top hits such as "An Actor's Life".
Diane Schuur, piano and vocal phenomena, wowed the audience with her beautiful music including a performance of Brazilian composer Ivan Lins' romantic composition "Love Dance".
The Elektric Band came out in full production - choreographed, plus a live video background - the audience went wild!
This performance featured the full-final lineup of the Elektric Band and was one of Frank Gambale's first live gigs with the group. His sweep picking technique left many listeners with their mouth's wide open. Chick and the entire band were on fire!
